Holiday Classic

The Holiday Classic started on December 23^rd, 2006. This event started as a North (Sacramento and surrounding areas) vs. South (Stockton, Modesto, Merced and surrounding areas.) The format was changed in 2009 because the North was just too dominant over the South counterparts.

With the new change came the new team with new attitude and that team is the East Bay All Stars. What a fantastic change it was as the kids from Sacramento told us it got them fired up even more than usual knowing they are playing all stars from the bay area which includes De La Salle, Pitt, Bishop O’Dowd, Concord and the rest of the great players from the great teams.

The first game ended in a tie after two over times. James Langford nailed a 57 yard field goal with under a minute to go to force the OT. Sacramento won the second game 23-8.
